The entry point to Victron's 150V SmartSolar range. The higher 150V PV input lets you wire panels in series - fewer, thinner cable runs and less voltage drop over long distances - while delivering 35A of charge into a 12, 24 or 48V battery bank.
Why 150V?
A 100V controller limits you to two panels in series on most setups. The 150/35 takes three or more, which suits ground-mounted arrays, sheds and cabins where the panels sit a long way from the batteries, and 24V or 48V systems that need a higher string voltage to charge properly.
Smart charging, set up from your phone
Bluetooth is built in, so setup, live monitoring, 30 days of yield history and firmware updates all happen in the free VictronConnect app. Ultra-fast MPPT tracking and partial-shade detection lock onto the true maximum power point, and the VE.Direct port connects it to a Cerbo GX for remote monitoring on the VRM portal.
