A true battery manager, not just a charger
The BCDC Alpha50 R adjusts its charge mode in real time to match your battery's actual condition, maximising efficiency and extending battery lifespan rather than running a fixed charge cycle regardless of need. Charges up to 50A from the alternator and solar simultaneously, with Green Power PriorityĀ® minimising alternator load by drawing from solar first.
Never get stranded
Start Battery Recovery can bring a flat start battery back in just 15 minutes at the touch of a button - no jumper leads required - while Start Battery Charging automatically tops up the start battery with excess solar once the auxiliary battery is full.
Built to expand, with serious fuse capacity
The 10-way combo fuse block combines 6 x 30A blade fuses and 4 x 100A MIDI fuses, supporting higher-power devices alongside everyday accessories - genuine headroom for a setup that grows over time, with easier maintenance than a piecemeal fuse arrangement.
Tiered Anderson outputs
Output is split across 10A (USB sockets, lighting, pumps), 25A (large fridges, small ovens, compact compressors) and 50A (large compressors, electric jacks) Andersonā¢ SB50 connections, so each device draws through an appropriately rated circuit.
Future-ready with over-the-air updates
Compatible with all common battery types including standard and heated lithium, with configurable input current limiting suited to hybrid and electric vehicles, and over-the-air firmware updates to keep the system current.
