A scalable step up from the Scout range, the Nomad40 adds an integrated 12-way blade fuse block to the BCDC Core40 DC-DC charger and Smart Battery Monitor - built for travellers who want to add more gear without rewiring their whole system.

The 12-way fuse block (30A channels) keeps your dual battery system wiring neat and protected from day one, while leaving room to add accessories later without extensive rewiring - genuinely useful as your setup grows over time rather than locking you into a fixed configuration.
Charge on the go, from the vehicle or the sun
The BCDC Core40 charges up to 40A from the alternator, with a built-in MPPT solar regulator and Green Power PriorityĀ® technology charging from both sources simultaneously and prioritising solar to reduce alternator load. Chemistry-specific charging profiles cover lithium and all common battery types, with LED indication for charge status and fault detection.
Tiered Anderson outputs for different loads
The Nomad40 splits output across three Andersonā¢ connections: 10A for low-power devices (USB sockets, lighting, pumps), 25A for medium loads (large fridges, small ovens, compact compressors), and 50A for high-draw devices (large compressors, electric jacks) - so you're not running everything through a single oversized connector.
Real-time monitoring via RedVision
Track battery state of charge, remaining run time, and input/output current in real time through REDARC's RedVision app, with LED status indicators on the BCDC charger itself for at-a-glance checks.
